We are back from our 2010 Summer Evangelistic Tour and all I can say is WE ARE SO BLESSED!! This year's tour was very different! Normally we are booked solid ministering at churches. This tour was more of a "house call" tour. We ministered to people who came to where we were. When people found out where we were they came to us to hear the word and to have questions answered. Souls were saved and lives were changed and we are happy and blessed that God has chosen us to do this work. We love singing the songs but we love bringing souls into the kingdom even more. Please notice the widget (learned a new word) at the top of our blog. We will periodically be placing our original songs there for you to listen to. Notice the email address bar at the bottom of the widget, you can enter your email address there and we will keep you updated on when and where we will be ministering. We have scheduled our summer tour for June 18th thru June 30th. We need YOUR help!! Due to the economic situation that everyone is going through we are finding it hard to get people to make a donation or even to purchase a CD. Spring, a time for renewal and hope!

In the book, "The Shack" by Wm Young, a man is given a new way of looking at God. He has to go through some pretty tough lessons first but in the end he has "new eyes" to see God's love and Jesus' selflessness. We should all strive to have the "heart of God". Sometimes people hurt us, our own brothers and sisters even! And I mean siblings as well as our brothers and sisters in Christ! When that happens our first reaction is to lash out at them, to get our "revenge". But God wants us to hold to a higher standard. If you love Jesus, if you love God. If you truly believe that God sent His Son to die for our sins. To die one of the most cruel, painful and humiliating deaths possible at that time. If we truly believe this then we, being Christ-like, are bound to the duty of forgiving those who hurt us. We don't have to agree with what was done to us but we do have to forgive the person who caused us pain. Just as God forgives us so must we forgive others.
When others hurt you, when they say things about you that aren't true, remember that our Savior Jesus Christ was ridiculed, mocked and talked about. He never lashed out in revenge. He was accused of falsehoods and of blasphemy but He loved his accusers. To the point of death, He loved them. Be a forgiving person. That's what He wants us to do!!

Tis the Season!

Ric and I want to wish each and every one a very Merry Christmas and a Joyous and Prosperous 2010! We pray that you remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. Christmas has become so commercialized that we just want to remind you of why we celebrate this holiday. Christmas Eve was the night of the amazing birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and today we celebrate His birth with our ceremonies and symbols. If we can just remember each time we participate in a Christmas ceremony like the church Christmas play, the community sing-along or parade, giving our loose change to the "bell ringers" at the red buckets and even the Christmas dinner, if we could just remember that all these things have meaning to the holiday. The Christmas plays remind us of what Mary and Joseph went through in order to bring the Christ child to us. The community sing-along brings us together to praise in song the Savior who has come to save the world. The parades are a community's way of celebrating Jesus' birth in the displays, ushering in the season and the day of remembrance. Giving to the community "bell ringers" who stand in the cold to collect leftover change from purchases at various shops symbolizes Christs selflessness to us. These people volunteer to stand for hours often in the cold to ring a bell (which they will hear for hours after they finish) to remind us to help others less fortunate than ourselves. The Christmas dinner that we enjoy symbolizes many things. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb when all believers will gather to feast with Jesus in celebration of the Bride coming home to heaven. It also represents the plenty that God has blessed us with all through the year and it symbolizes the gathering together of our loved ones to honor God for sending His only Son to save us from our sins. Some say that the decorating for Christmas doesn't have anything to do with the holiday but they are wrong. We see these things but we don't SEE them at all. An evergreen tree symbolizes God's everlasting love. The lights represent stars of the heavens, and a big star on top represent the one the wise men followed to see Baby Jesus. Giving a gift is an act of love like God's love for us in sending Jesus. Each gift, as beautiful as we can make it, reminds us of the perfect gift, Jesus Christ as our Savior. As we light candles during the Christmas season, they remind us how we are to be a light unto the world. They are used to announce the birth of the Savior and to call us to worship Him. The wreath in the shape of a circle, which has no beginning or end, reminds us of God's unending love for us as He offers us salvation. The holly's thorn like leaves remind us of Jesus' crown of thorns, and the berries symbolize the drops of blood He shed for us. An angel told the shepherds of the birth of Jesus. Angels come in many forms for Christmas decorations including the tree topper. So, the next time you think to yourself or out loud that Christmas just isn't what it should be, check your own heart. Do you try to remember what these symbols and celebrations really mean? Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!

Texas Tour 2009!

We are back from our Evangelistic Tour to Gulf Coast Texas! We had a wonderful time in the Lord and saw 5 souls turn their lives over to the Lord! Hallelujah!!! Ric's testimony is so powerful in bringing in souls. People still want to hear about the miraculous saving power of God! Robin ministered sermons about the Lord's Prayer and about Tribulation Instructions. I'm telling you, if you have loved one's or friends whose spiritual destiny you are not sure of, you need to get a copy of "End Time Instructions". Just email us at ricrobrod@sbcglobal.net and we will be more than happy to send you a copy. Feel free to make as many copies as you need to give to others.
Although the weather was scorching hot and humid, we had an awesome time and are looking forward to another trip to Texas. Thank you to everyone who donated to our ministry to help us pay for the gas and food while we were working for the Lord. You will be blessed!

Use what He gave you!

God has blessed us all with gifts to use in order to bring others to His awesome salvation. We just have to find out what those gifts are and use them as He intends. Many people use God's gifts in ways that are displeasing to God. How do you know if you are misusing your gift? Well, if you are walking in the ways of the Lord and giving all the glory and honor to God for your blessings and achievements, then you are using your gifts correctly. If the things you do and say would not bring shame to Jesus if he were standing there listening and watching then you are probably on the right track. Keep up the good work. But, if you do things that you would not want some people to know about, if you say things that you would not say in front of your mother or someone you admire and respect then chances are you are not using God's gifts like He intended. Think about what you do well. Do you speak to others and hold their attention, do you write well, do you sing well, are you patient with young or old people, do you like doing things for others, or does it thrill you to give or do something anonymously? Use those things you do well for the glory of God! Rake leaves for an elderly neighbor, mow their yard, run an errand. Who would it hurt if you are going to the store and you asked that little old lady or gentleman across the way if you can pick up something for them? Go to your local nursing homes and just visit with some of the residents there. They are interesting people and have so much history to tell about. There are so many things we can do that don't cost a penny but will reap great rewards later. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." God bless you all and have a great weekend!

God at Work!

This has been a most awesome summer for the work of God! We have seen incredible miracles at every turn. We look forward to ministering to the Corn Heritage Village residents on August 2nd and hope you can join us!
I learned of the death of a young man who was about the age of both of my sons. I grieve for his family because the human side of me thinks about how I would be so heartbroken if I were to lose one of my boys. Even worse is the thought, "Did he know Jesus?" I pray daily that my sons both turn their lives to God. They are so dear to me and the thought of them not being in heaven with me is the worse thing I can think of. Mom's and Dad's, pray daily for your kids. Lead them in the ways of the Lord. Love them today like there is no tomorrow for we are not promised our next breath let alone the next day. Pray for the Roman Nose family that God will comfort them in their time of loss. Thank you Lord for keeping my boys safe and in Your hands. Amen.

Our New Site!

Our old website has become unmanageable and I want to be able to add information quickly and often so we are changing to a blog! Now you will be able to keep up with events we are doing and you can share your prayer requests and stories of God's moving in your lives.
We just returned from our summer tour to Texas and we are so excited to share with you how God is moving. There were several lives that were changed through accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior and there were also several who rededicated their lives to the Lord. It was hot and tiring but we feel so blessed to have been able to spread the Word of God because of many of your donations to our ministry. We could not have done it without YOU, and GOD!!
